The graduate program leading to the Master of Fine Arts Degree in Music is designed to provide opportunity for a variety of advanced studies in music. The objective of the program is to produce a graduate student skilled in research, able in organizational and writing skills, and imaginative in developing new approaches and concepts: a student who, with a broad knowledge of the theory, history and literature of music, is able to use this knowledge with effective musicality as a performer, conductor, composer, theorist, or music educator.
The MFA may be earned with either an academic or a performance emphasis. The program will effectively prepare students for continuation into doctoral study. Students may focus their studies in one of five areas:

Scholarship
The Rangsit University offers scholarship for qualified students. Students should contact the Graduate School and Building 11, Floor 2, for more details. Music Scholarship may also be available from the Conservatory, depanding on funding for a particular academic year. Please refer to the Music Office, Building 10, Floor 10 for information.
