The Music Production program offers an exciting combination of subjects including practical audio production, sound theory and contextual studies. It will help students to develop the intellectual and craft skills required to produce sound design and audio content for a broad spectrum of creative industries. The program also provides students with opportunities to develop an in-depth understanding of computer-based applications including synthesis and digital signal processing.
The degree is based in our Music Technology Center that is fully equipped with purpose-built studios and computer facilities. Visiting producers/artists contribute to the program providing valuable professional insights and perspectives. This program benefits from a broad range of subjects from both Audio Design and Music Technology areas.
Career opportunities would include audio production, film or television audio specialists, or further study at postgraduate level.
